The International Women’s Day, March 8, has passed but the desire to create is still here! 
Our project “Homemade Cards and Gifts – Interesting Ideas Every Day!” would not be complete if we did not share one more type of cards with you (which will finish our project). Such a card is both a card and a gift!
Such a card will remind the person who you presented it with about it for a long time: thanks to its format, it is also a bookmark.

Today is March 8 – the International Women’s Day in Russia and in many other countries. It is a holiday of the sun, joy, femininity, coziness, warmness and beauty. And we wish all of you, dear ladies, adult and young, a spring sun within and around!
What can the card made on March 8 look like? Of course, it should be cheerful! Shining! And quick in preparation! And it is much desirable that the card should be made from such things which can be found not leaving home.
Our daughter and I made this camomile from a muffin cup and bay leaves (in Russia they are used for cooking soup). The background is yellow velvet paper.

One more kind of cards which we would like to present you in the network of the project “Homemade Cards and Gifts – Interesting Ideas Every Day” are 3D cards.
The materials needed for such cards are the following: dense white paper, dense colour paper, a pencil, a knife for paper.

Soon cherry will start blossoming in our country – in about a couple of months . And in Japan, sakura – a Japanese ornamental cherry tree – has almost broken into blossom (in the south of Japan blossoming start on about March 12). So, we suggest you enjoy the “hanami” – Japanise holiday of admiring blossoming sakura – right now

Today’s card is quite unusual. Three-dimensional and movable. And at the same time it has fully preserved the functions of the traditional card: it is made of paper and inside there are felicitations and warm wishes. And today we suggest You to make your own “home Twitter”. Look, there are pipes made of paper where you can see the birds known to many , many-coloured sheets of paper. We’d like to present you a third card in our project “Homemade Cards and Gifts – Interesting Ideas Every Day!”
Have you ever thought of an additional functionality of the hole punch?
The idea of this card is not only in laborious work (though I somehow managed to glue all these circles when our little daughter was nearby – I gave her some of the circles for her own, tot’s, card ) ). The composition and the texture of the materials are also important in the card.

If our yesterday’s card which opened the project “Homemade Cards and Gifts – Unique Ideas Every Day!” was totally created by adults (our little daughter’s input was the colouring of baking paper), today’s card has been fully made by children! They made it at one of the meetings of the children’s art-group.
The main idea of this card is the uncommonness of the materials which were used. Or, to be more exact, this tender card has become a result of combining quite usual things.

Our warmest wishes to all our readers on the first day of spring! And today we are starting a new project of the “Parents’ ideas”: “Homemade Cards and Gifts – Unique Ideas Every Day!” Until March 8, each day, we will share with you new ideas of cards.
All the cards which we will introduce in this project have been made by us, Anastasia and Natalie (often with the help of our little kids ). And for each of the cards we’ve tried to think of some little gift which suits the colours and style of the cards.
The main idea of this card is its composition. Mainly thanks to it, the aura of tenderness is created. The choice of materials for the card is also important: velvet paper goes with baking paper.
