For the last children’s art group which gathered at our place I made a tasty curd tart (before I had tried several other recipes but finally chose this one). This time I made this curd tart for the first time after our daughter was born (she is 19 mo now). No, the preparation of this curd tart does not take much time. You just want to cook it for very special occasions
I remember I made such a curd tart for the doctor who was examining me (together with our little one sitting in my belly) during my last months of pregnancy – I really wanted to make something pleasant for the doctor, so good she was! The curd tart was a great success!

The recipe of the curd tart
Ingredients
For the pastry:
- flour – 1 glass (but if the pastry turns out too sticky, add some more flour))
- butter – 140 g
- sugar – 0,5 glass
- egg – 1
- baking powder (a little bit)
- (I also added some salt)
For the stuffing:
- cottage cheese/curds – 400 g
- raisins – 150 g (you can also make the curd tart without them but it is tastier with raisins)
- sugar – 0,5 glass
- eggs – 4
Preparation:
- For the pastry, grind the butter and sugar and then add an egg and the flour mixed with baking powder. Mix everything.
- Roll out the paste and put it at the bottom of the form. (It is quite difficult to roll out the paste with a roll pin as it is quite sticky. My advice is to knead it with hands at the bottom of the baking form not forgetting to leave high sides).

- For the stuffing, beat up the eggs with the sugar, add the curds rubbed through and raisins. Mix everything.
- Put the stuffing into the baking form. Bake for an hour at 250 degrees (Celsius). The curd tart can be decorated with canned fruits.

Bon appetit!
Next time you will learn about the activities the children were involved in during the art-group’s meeting at Anastasia’a place…
