A baby starts watching the falling of toys on the floor from 6-7 months. In fact, the toys are thrown out of the cot even earlier. First, I washed the toys and rattlers as soon as they met the floor according to the acceleration given to them by a child’s hand. But during the dayone and the same rattler could fly out from the cot from 5 to 10 times. So, I started collecting all the “lucky ones” in a basin and then wash all of them the next morning. Our daughter had only 1-2 toys by the evening. Too few!
And one day our daddy made one simple thing which made my work much easier. He placed a baby’s bath at the side of the cot where the baby spends most of the time standing. Why had not it occurred to us before? By the way, you can keep the bath under the cot – in our case we just moved it a little bit to one side for it to catch the toys.

When our baby had got two teeth to be able to nibble apples and bananas, the bath also became a trap for these fruits. Biscuits and rusks turn out there from time to time, too.
Have you happened to catch baby’s toys constantly flying out of the cot/pram? Have you managed to automate the process?
Next time we will tell you how to teach a baby a second language.
