Breakfast Which Is Always Ready or How a New Mummy Can Manage to Have Breakfast

That’s it – always ready! As both the mother who has a little baby and the mother who is “packing” her child for school and hurrying to work do not have time for cutting, boiling and frying! But malnutrition, as we all know, is not good for our health.

Breakfast which is always ready

Natalie and I have worked out a list of products (with no semi-finished products!), which can provide a good breakfast being used together or separately:

* Oatmeal. Natalie’s method: put rolled oats into the dish, cover it with boiling water and eat the dish in 3 minutes. Anastasia’s method: put rolled oats into the dish, cover it with cold water, put the dish into the steam cooker together with the vegetables for the baby, add raisins and eat. The method of Anastasia’s husband: put the oats into the dish, add cold water, put the dish into the micro-wave and add mashed banana – then you can eat it.

* Boiled buckwheat. Anastasia’s method: put buckwheat into the saucepan, add cold water, leave it on fire for 10 minutes. Natalie’s method: Natalie does not admire buckwheat. So, she substitutes it with other products :) .

* Tea/coffee. Anastasia’s way: we’ve bought a boiler – it boils water and then, like a thermos, keeps the water hot. If you need tea or coffee: just pour hot water into the cup. But we haven’t not stopped on that: we pour hot water into the thermos where we not only have tea leaves but also cranberries (frozen in our freezer since autumn) and some other healthy tea things. Thus, during the day we enjoy a healing tea.

* Walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts. Anastasia’s was: we buy kilograms of nuts and put them into the oven for 15-20 mins. Protein for breakfast (and for lunch/dinner if you wish) is guaranteed.

* Raisins and dried apricots. A wonderful addition to oatmeal and cottage cheese/curds (if you have got it in your menu for breakfast).

* By the way, cottage cheese (curds). You can make such a yummy dish from it! Anastasia’s method: take the curds, honey and strawberry (a winter variant: back currant from the freezer and dried apricots) and beat the mixture up with a blender. Natalie’s method: do all Anastasia has mentioned and add some lemon.

* And, we think all of you remember about sandwiches. A traditional ingredient of breakfasts. Though… one should cut and slice things for them. May be, you can do without them :) especially if you take pains to be slender.

* And also bananas, apples, pears and fruits of other kinds !

And what do you have for breakfast? Would you like to share your ideas in comments?

Next time we will describe the idea on how to prevent the baby’s toys from falling on the floor.
